The new Basel AML Global Ranking Index has just been updated for 2021. One significant change to note, before you load it into your AML systems, is that the index has been inverted. A low ranking that was bad in previous years is now good! Haiti, number 2 on the list in 2020, is now 110. Andorra, previously ranked at 140, is now number 1.
The world turned upside down!
